Before & After Care
Follow these guidelines before and after your microneedling treatment for the best results.
Before your treatment
- —Avoid active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide) 3–5 days prior.
- —No waxing, laser or tanning 1 week before.
- —Use SPF 30+ daily for 2 weeks before — we recommend HUBISLAB Post Rays Derma Perfect Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++ 50gr or Herb 8 Soothing Blemish Balm SPF30 PA++ 50g.
- —For best results, prep skin with HUBISLAB Hyuluron Complex 65% Ampoule and Vitamin-C Complex 50% Ampoule daily for 2 weeks prior.
After your treatment
- —Expect redness, a sunburn-like feel, dryness, tightness or mild swelling for 1–2 days (sometimes longer).
- —Avoid exercise, sweating and heat (hot showers, saunas, cooking over a hot stove) for 72 hours.
- —Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 72 hours — always wear HUBISLAB Post Rays Derma Perfect Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++ 50gr or Herb 8 Soothing Blemish Balm SPF30 PA++ 50g, even on cloudy days.
- —Apply HUBISLAB Hyuluron Complex 65% Ampoule morning and night, and whenever skin feels tight or dry. Drink plenty of water.
- —Do not wash the treated area for 12 hours. After that, cleanse gently with lukewarm water and pat dry — never rub.
- —No make-up for 24 hours. After 24 hours, mineral make-up is best — ensure your brushes are clean.
- —From Day 5 (once redness has settled) resume your normal routine. Full results show at 2 weeks; wait 4–6 weeks between micro-needling sessions.
